Biography

DJ Eddie Down started Dj-ing whilst at University in Newcastle. His first ever booking was by the legendary Newcastle DJ Rob Boggie at an event in Sunderland. He set up a promotional group called Universal Voices along with long standing friend Ken Yaskey in 1995 and held various events called Culture Vibe @ World Headquarters in Newcastle.

Since then he has Dj-ed in Reading, London, Sheffield, Blackburn, Preston, Bolton, Leeds, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and many more. The most prestigious night he has played was at the MTV Lick Party @ the Temple, Bolton in November 2000.
I am currently the Resident @ most of Ums parties throughout the country.

I am also the presenter of the 'Taste of Brownsuga' show every Sunday evening on 100.7 Fresh FM, Manchester 6-8pm.
